Using Digi Edge

Ok…officially this is the first post by me, using this new internet provider-Didi Edge. I have much trouble to get the configuration setting done, and after numerous of calling to the customer service provider, and also numerous of smsing and deleting existing setting, Finally…Finally, I can get connected and surf thru my mobile as modem and am using my notebook as usual.

I will be going to get da usb wireless broadband modem soon. I dont want to spoil my phone. Even tho it’s just 3110c, but it’s been really useful to me since last year, from the time I bought it. It still serve me well. Thank God for that.

I am planning and going to change service provider for my mobile. Using MNP is so much easier than what I had thought before. It not only allow you to keep back you existing number, but also allow your switching withing less than 24 hours(FYI-it happen to my sister’s mobile number. they swifted the provider in the same application day!). Well, as for me, I might be changing to prepaid plan, instead of postpaid. Oh…I forgot to mentioned. I am changing from hotlink to digi… thats why I twittered, changing to da D’ man. haha… Kota kemuning berjaya park is definitely   covered by Digi. When we mentioned berjaya park, the Digi centre dealers confirm the coverage area immediately.

I still miss the speed provided by streamyx last time. Even tho sometimes it runs slowly like slower than snail, but the stability gives you the advantages. Wireless will have disconnection suddenly. I had iit once juzt now. I am not sure how well it goes. Am now trying to download large file from sendspace. Let’s see how it goes. Streaming? Youtube? Hmm…I haven try that out. Wait until I have the time and also have da mental. Currently, there are a lot of things going on…and I have restless mind. OMG…restless..did I mentioned restless?

The time now is around 12 40 am. I guess I should sleep. I should sleep…

Well well…I am definitely don’t know what to do, if I cannot online often. I totally cannot imagine myself staying at a place, whereby no internet is available. I can throw away mobile phone, I can throw away luxury lifestyle-no much life entertaining, but definetly not Internet! How am I going to work out if I couldn’t get to surf and connected to net? Sigh…I am not desperately trying to get a way out. I only can opt for wireless. Why? Cause, the stupid TM Streamyx personnel called and inform us that they could not connect any telephone line and cabling at Berjaya Park. They said Berjaya Park is out of their territory. Ok…I am totally stunned. This is the very first time that I happen to know that a place in Malaysia (especially in Klang Valley) do not covered by TM or Celcom. Furthermore, they told us to get wireless of fixed line from DIGI. WHAT? Did I hear it wrong? NO. It is indeed true that Berjaya Park in under Digi territory. And how good Digi in it? I don’t know. I googled and read up some forum and blog. Most of the wireless users are using Celcom wireless and least information known about Digi. It is because people tend to use 3G and not EDGE(2.5-2.75G). Digi haven’t get their 3G launched. So, at time being, the two Mega competitor (Celcom and Maxis) are still the providers that suplly 3G and coming soon-3.5G. I heard U-Mobile is trying to get 4G? I don’t really got to know about that.

I wanted some wireless that provide coverage at my hometown too. If not, why the hell I bother to get one wireless? I check out some coverage area and both telco Celcom and Maxis provide poor wireless coverage at my hometown area. Digi, even though giving out EDGE wireless service, but they has coverage at my hometown. This gave Digi a better advantage. Somehow, I read in forums and blogs that people are giving out advice not to use telco M’s wireless broadband service. The service provided is bad, and not worth for the money paid…That’s also another reason I am thinking not to use Telco M. I personally tried to use Telco M to on my mobile messenger while I am Berjaya Park, but it shown weak or no connection at all. This really means I have to think carefully.

Wireless…is that the only option that I can get? Or better I stay off from internet and don’t get myself to pay out the montly fees. I thought of giving up on internet, but it seems that I am too hooked up. Sigh…this is bad…I am addicted!

Internet…I can only go online now whenever I am in the lab. Sorry internet…I will neglect you for a couple of weeks, or months…

Dinner at Kafe Ben&Nick’s Diner

Haha…i know, I know. Some of you might be surprised why I go back again to dine? I am actually bring a friend-Yen Leng from my hometown (now staying at Cheras) to dine in there. She said she heard my description not bad, so wanted to go there for a try. And viola…there we go.

I try out something different since last time tasted the chicken chop, carjun chicken and fish & chip. So, this time, I wanted to try the chicken blanket. Hmm… I guess this time, they made it quite in a hurried? The chicken do seems like over grilled and it’s less juicy and tender. Or maybe that’s my luck today…didn’t manage to get the right menu? Haha…

My friend enjoy that place very much. She even thought of like having red wine over there. But sure, there is none. They only served beer. But with that kind of atmosphere with the melody of some 70’s and 80’s jazz…a red wine cruisine will be damn perfect. Haha…

As the dinner was held quite late, we didnt stop for any second station. We head off back to house, with me driven back by Yen Leng’s colleague who happened to stay around USJ 3 too. Wow..that’s our 2nd time of get together dinner ever since May. Sigh… I wonder when will it be for  the next? Seems like I can’t wait for it, though. Haha… my…my… =D
